Ah, February. I'm sure some of you are quite excited for the upcoming holiday, yes? I admit to liking Valentine's myself. Just remember: if you don't have a romantic partner to celebrate it with, don't despair. You could most certainly celebrate it with anyone important to you! I'm guessing you mean if I plan on having a date on that day?

[Hmmm...would Mario be interested in a date, Peach thought. Oh, he's still all the way in the Mushroom Kingdom...LITTLE DID SHE KNOW...]

Hmmm, I'm not so sure yet. I'll probably see when it gets closer to that time. You can never know what will happen until then.

How about you?

You guessed right. Frankly, I'm surprised. I'm sure you'll find someone to share the day with soon.

Me? No, no one's asked me. Yet.

Mmm, if not, it's nothing to be sad over. Like I said, I deem the holiday special enough with my dear friends~.

Oh, I do hope you enjoy it if you do get asked!

You haven't heard of Valentine's?

Oh, but you probably came from a place that didn't celebrate it?

If that's the case I could explain it if you'd like.

That'd be real nice of ya. We don't celebrate it, no. Least not by that name maybe?

It would be my pleasure ♥. Maybe it would sound familiar if you do follow similar traditions.

Valentine's Day is basically a holiday about love. While some see this just as a way to find a date or a romantic partner in general, I have seen people celebrate it with anyone they cherish. People would give gifts like flowers or chocolate to show their fondest feelings for the other.

I remember reading about how the states has both men and women give out gifts on Valentines day, rather than just the women...

That's how the Mushroom Kingdom generally celebrates it too.

I'm aware people celebrate differently. But I'm curious, if the girls give the gifts on Valentine's, what do the men do? At least where you're familiar with it. Do they do anything in return somehow?

There's a holiday in Japan on March 14th called White Day. That's when the men give gifts to the women who gave them Valentines.

Oh, how romantic~. It appears that they cherish the holiday even more than I've seen if they hold other days similar to Valentine's a month from each other!

Everyone was forced to fall in love with each other! I suspect Cupid himself, but everyone thinks it was robots.

I hadn't known about this until now! Heavens, there weren't any disasters from what you know?
