Just wanted to wish everyone a good day.  So much for the nice weather we were supposed to have today.  We had planned a bbq with a friend and picked today.

I think it really sucks that a lot of stores are open today. I would rather see more openings on religious days then Canada Day. Places should be closed today as we now have Sunday shopping.

sunday shopping has paved the way for 24/7/365

and given what harris has done to make working on sunday mandatory :(

it also means that folks forget how to plan, and are far crankier and panicky when shopping

I hope so too. It has been overcast all morning and the forecast is calling for showers today. So far so good. I am off to the Hill for a quick trip. Mom and Dad want Canada T-shirts. I am going to grab a bus - no point in battling car crowds. Yikes!!

Wish you could have been with us this weekend, it would have been nice to have the "old gang" together for K...but it was nicely done.
