I feel the same exact way with my current boyfriend. He and I have been together for almost two years, and there are times when I would give anything to go back to before he had ever hurt me.
Of course, I was promised I'd never, ever get hurt, and I fell for it. I think every one of us women fall for it at least once, unfortunately.
If only we could go back and erase things, or prevent them from happening. I've felt like a complete fool in the past, and I still get that feeling sometimes.
