7. Cat Walking!

Well Marcus and I went for a walk tonight and we rounded the corner and heard this miaow. Mistoffelees was following along behind us! He came with us the whole way only vanishing briefly to look in gardens and coming out again with a cheerful miaow.

I think the dog could take lessons from that xP

Cats are just more likely to get scared by cars and end up being hit.

couldn't work out what got into him, he's never tried to follow before

My cats used to do it all the time when we walked the dogs. The problem is sometimes when a car goes past and they're away from home they panic and just run in front of it for no reason.

I'll definitely have to try and discourage it then. I don't want anything to happen to him.

How did you break the habit?

That's cute, but as pointed out above can be dangerous. Unless you get a leash for him. My kitty never took to leashes. As he's 22lbs of whirling sharp claws...I didn't fight him too much on it.
