I love the Robert Plant hair: very Lestat.

I know of Nick Drake's music. Rather melancholy in its sound so that fits Louis. I've been spoiled by Brad Pitt's version and always think of Louis with long hair though of course he must have nights when he cuts it short. I can't think of another musician who would do instead so, yeah Nick Drake, why not?

A few years back there was a BBC radio program about Nick Drake, narrated by Brad Pitt. There has also been some talk that Brad Pitt would love to play in a biopic about Nick Drake. (I think I've heard the same about him wanting to play Jeff Buckley, so it's possible that I'm confusing something here.) Anyway, the whole Brad Pitt thing actually helps me make the connection.

I heard that radio broadcast. It was back when he and Jennifer were still married. Apparently, she introduced him to both singers' work. *smile I don't think Brad can sing like either of them.

I heard about that too. Also watched a Jeff Buckley documentary at some point.

I can't remember ever having heard Brad Pitt singing. I quite like his speaking voice, but that doesn't guarantee a good singing voice. Ah well, even if he could sing, it's very unlikely that he would be in league with people like Nick Drake and Jeff Buckley.

Wow, before I enlarged the thumbnail I totally thought Robert Plant was grabbing his crotch, and I was all, hellsyeah, Crotchgrab!Lestat ftw!! But even with his hand just resting there in entirely nonlascivious fashion on the mike stand, it's still a hot pic.

I still think the pictures look great.
I have a different mental picture of lestat but Louis is almost a perfect match. (I like to imagine him with a bit longer hair.)
