Yeah so I guess lately there's a meme going around about listing 100 songs on your iPod or what not(on shuffle) and posting them no matter how lame. I'm leaving out repeats. I only have 473 right now but I'm working on it. Anyways, here I go

avatar's insanely popular, and a lot of people whose opinion i respect enjoy it, but i've tried three times to get into it and always wandered away at about the fifth episode. apparently it's better as you get into it, but the first bit is dull as dishwater.

A lot of shows go that way. One of my favorites had a rough beginning. The pilot was interesting then like the first few episodes were very strained and so-so. Then it started to pick up around the fifth or sixth episode (this is How I Met Your Mother)

Heh sounds like the first season of How I Met Your Mother. First few episodes were mehh and hard to get into, but once The Pineapple Incident aired, it got better (that was actually the first episode of the show I ever saw...yay good timing)

Avatar is really not bad. It's a kid show, but the plots are relatively complex and fast moving. No love interests beyond very mild flirtation, and only a little cartoonish violence. I don't watch it regularly, but I do enjoy it when I do.
