Haha, the only band I was excited about was Metallica. I've seen them live a handful of times going back like...13 years. No one would ever guess that I'm a big fan of theirs, but they put on a hell of a show.

I dunno, I've just never really been into Metallica. I had a friend who LOVED Metallica and even got me to like a couple songs of theirs (I don't hate them, I just don't like them too much) and as long as you keep your fans happy and put on a great show, I got no complaints (well lately Metallica has been a little on the douchey side but whatever)

Yeah I'd say that is probably the most egregarious of all. That one is just....WTF. I need to find a list of some snubs to look through. I know some are like Lou Reed, The Cure (If not for them, even if you may see it as a bad thing, there wouldn't be emo music), Tom Waits, Cat Stevens, Peter Gabriel, Neil Diamond...hell even Chicago but I am talking about old school Chicago. But then again some people took forever to be enshrined like Bob Seger so who knows.

I love hearing that Run DMC made it! I still remember exactly when and where I was the first time someone played me a tape of this new thing called "rap," and it happened to be those guys.
