Tek- I think Lowell has helped him loosen up or something...he saw you can be goofy, yet serious, and not crazy a la Manny, Trot or Paps.
Yeah I'm guessing it was between him and Daisuke who helped him lighten up(Tek had some comments about how much of a sunny personality that Dice has and stuff so I think he played a part in it)
Drew- sooooo mellow. I don't get it. The Grand Slam and his accent made me feel alright about him for '07 though. I'm hoping he'll come out of his shell more in '08 and hit better during the RS.
I think it's just the way he's always been. It's not really anything entirely wrong with him. He's still a good guy but he is nonchalant and there's nothing that can change him. It doesn't mean that he doesn't like the game. It's just the way he goes through life. I'm hoping he'll fare better in 2008 and shut my dad up who had teh most irrational hatred for him
Ellsbury- I used to looooove Benny from the Sandlot. And then I saw a pic of what he looks like now and my memory of his hot teenage self was completely

Oh and for Lowell's moment...honestly I forgot all about it. I was kinda going back and forth with all the players adn stuff. I couldn't really think of anything with Lowell...but I'll be sure to put something in.
Oh yeah...you see, sometimes I forget about other stuff like Pedroia's leadoff homerun. That really did set the tone for the rest of the series. And Papi's walkoff definitely gets a mention too. Tavarez had a bit of a "dragon slayer" reputation but it was more of him holding his own against the best(it seemed like every time he ended up against the other team's ace in like May)
Oh and one more awesome thing about the 4 in a row -- it was ALL of their 2nd homeruns of the season!! I think that is pretty fucking amazing too. And JD Drew was second in line in the one with the Dodgers adn the one with the Red Sox.
