Great game. Papelbon and Papi were freaking awesome. Much love to both of them. The best thing is that they ended the road trip basically dead even 3-3 which is a lot better than it could've been. Schill was on his game tonight and Javier Lopez got a big out. Pineiro sucked out loud and the offense isn't exactly with it yet, but there's strides. ( Read more... )

I thought Pineiro should have had at least one K, the ump's strike zone was all over the place.

And to think I was getting worried about Papi's bat. Heh. He shut me up.

That right there? Is the reason that Jonathan Papelbon is the closer. So all the "experts" who say he has more value as a starter can kindly STFU. :D

THat's true enough. The ump was being a dumb and Pineiro wasn't benefitting. And Papi just has that way about him taht makes everyone STFU about him. :)
