To which I answer with an emphatic "BOOOOOOO" aka I got nothing going on. I think I'll go out driving for a few. It's a holiday so I have no classes. I'm just annoyed because I got nothing to do right now. So the upcoming ALCS, which starts tomorrow, is gonna be the A's and the Tigers. I'm gunning for the Tigers there. I hope they kick ass and ( Read more... )

Go fig really....to be fair, there's some dumbasses who think that firing Tito solves everything. Nope, not likely.

Now the Daily News is saying it's Torre fault as well as Jeter for 'not reaching out to A-Rod'. What is he, a therapist? A-Rod's a headcase who can't deal with playing in New York especially in the postseason. It's as simple as that.

I predict it will be the bat boy's fault next. I dunno what for, but I've got a feeling...

Personally, I think that the whole "Jeter is a team leader" thing as a bit of a farce. He seems to carry a lot of grudges. I mean he's not a bad player and he's probably a good guy deep down, but he seems very grudge-ish and all hes' been doing for the past few years is distancing himself from this other collection of Yankees, basically giving the whole "True Yankee" label even more of a definition.

True, which is why it shouldn't be up to him to comfort and console A-Rod, because he isn't going to do it.

I dunno, but this team never really seemed to bond. I think they thought throwing Johnny Damon in there would help them, but I don't think it helped that much (not on the field, in the clubhouse). They strike me as very clique-y, but maybe all teams are like that. *shrugs*

All teams are clique-y to an extent. But as long as you have a tolerance for your fellow teammate and actually can work with them without being all grudgy and shit, then you're fine. The Red Sox are kinda fortunate that they got a guy like Ortiz in the clubhouse. He not only is a good player but he also unites the clubhouse
