playing catch-up [part 4: snow bound]

Since I will be returning to Australia in early February, I decided I needed to see as much as Japan as I could in those 10 days my dorm/uni was closed for the winter break.

So after warm sunny Okinawa, I did a complete 180 and headed north for cold snowy Hokkaido.

Fukuurajima(the Matsushima island with the bridge leading to it)!!! I remember exploring that island summer 2006! That was quite the adventure. And Sendai!! Yeah, the taxis amused me as well when I saw it. Haha... And the guy on the horse is Date Masamune. I always forget what makes him famous with Sendai.

And it's nice to actually see pictures from your trip as opposed to just you telling us what happened. I wish I could have gone to Hokkaido this winter! Oh well.. When I come back to Japan after graduation!
