My dad's new nickname for me is "K hao" (K queen) because I go so often. I know, it's becoming an addiction. Though I am far from deserving of that title. A real K queen would know a wide vareity of songs, old and new, and be able to sing unfamiliar songs because she could read all the characters. do you go to the sf karaoke bars? if so, you must REALLY love K cuz i know how much u hate driving in sf. :) hopefully i can join you guys one day.

i should really learn to sing chinese karaoke songs though -- that's a good idea for brushing up on my chinese!

No, karaoke bars are scary. I don't want to sing in front of a ton of people. I prefer a small amount in a closed room. The K places in SF are usually pretty nasty. We go to the one near Ranch 99 in Richmond. (My Richmond, not your Richmond)

lol. I was talking to my friend today and she said I could invite you sing K with us someday, but you don't like to sing in front of a ton of people you don't know. There goes that idea. ~_^ Some of them smoked last time too, making my clothes smell or maybe she could invite her non-smoking friends.

It was just random white dude. Never seen him before in my life. I was talking to someone else, so maybe he heard me speak, but I was speaking Canto not Mando so I guess he made some assumptions. And telling someone to watch your stuff while you pee is really not a great pick up line, though I was impressed he used the informal version of bathroom rather than the polite book way.

I seriously don't know how to talk dirty in Chinese. Well I guess maybe I could do direct translations, but it sounds akward. I've never seen Chinese porn, so maybe I should look into that. HA.
