Why they never show voir dire on Law and Order

Barely escaped jury duty. I was called up as the last batch for alternate jurors, but the old dude in front of me got the last spot. Phew. Though I think the defense attorney would have dismissed me anyway. He was giving me the stink eye

i'm weird and think it would be pretty interesting to serve on a jury. it would probably be stressful though to sit there and listen to talk, talk, talk all day and then make a decision o__0;

Somehow she came to the conclusion that one of the defendants is the victim and was being pimped by the other. We're suppose to get justice using a jury of our peers. If this is the intelligence level of my peers, I don't know how much faith I have in the justice system.
