While I am not planning on voting for Mitt Romney, I honestly don't understand why he and Obama keep coming under attack by GOP voters for being "too smart

If Romney gets the nomination, I'd have some faith in the sanity of GOP voters but be worried about Obama.
If Santorum gets the nomination, I'd be scared for America but have a lot of confidence in an Obama win.
