The first series I ever saw her in was the space comedy Hyperdrive which no one on earth likes except Lachie and I. The show is about her fictional life as a clumsy, size 14 frumpish, single, shop owner and is genuinely laugh out loud funny. Surprisingly for me I enjoy even the puerile and slapstick at times, she just carries it off and makes you enjoy it. We were roaring with laughter last night watching her, particularly her asides to camera and her ease at completely taking the piss out of herself. ABC2 8pm Mondays, not for everyone, thats for sure, but we cant resist her. Sometimes she just reminds me of me!
