2 hours and 35 minutes door to door today. One fuck up after another.
Understanding why doesnt make it any easier.

PS. I only live 30 k from the city by road and about 37 by train. Its not country!!

My previous train this morning was cancelled. So mine was totally chockers. Train also had to run express past one station that had it's underground subway footpath flooded.

Another line had to use buses this morning.

What's needed is trains running underground or above ground, with a brand new signalling system. Flooding, level crossing, and powerline issues then (possibly) disappear. Japanese cities can have 4 decks of train line crossing over each other in a given location.
