this is my life...everyday my wonderful boyfriend reminds me that he can't wait for this kind of thing to happen. i usually just smile to humor him. yes, we probably will invite someone around, and yes i'm sure i will enjoy it. (how could i not?) i've done it before, and now even more interested in it because its one of his fantasies. so yeah, i guess i'm a little mixutre of both these girls you speak of.

I think that women in our society are more publicly sexualized - we see them everywhere on ads, tv shows, movies - sexy sexy sexy!!! But how often do you see men objectified or sexualized? Really only in gay contexts. The average person does not see much "sexy straight man" messaging in his/her day-to-day life. I think that this contributes to the feeling that it's okay for women to be sexual/sensual, and reinforces the idea that women are sexual beings. Therefore, I think that women (and men too) are taught that they and other women are sexual, and that it's okay to think of other women sexually.

Does that make sense?
