Indeed. A little bit of perplexity is good; keeps you wanting to read more (I hope). xD

At first I was thinking it might be a different time period, but I ended up making it modern-day. I was wondering about that actually, because I want to make sure the whole priest thing could still fit for some middle-of-nowhere ho-dunk town in the present day. Does it? Don't be afraid to tell me no, because I'd like to know if there's anything I should change to make it more believable.
