Congratulations on finishing the paper, and on escaping to holiday festivities.

Is LosCon a generic SF/Fantasy con or a specific con? I imagine the more specific cons are more interesting, if only because their cutesy knickknacks are more specific, more playing to a niche.

It's a generic con, and one of the oldest. I suppose you might have a point. Hmm, it seems Gallifrey One is Feb 13-15. That'll be smack-dab in the middle of wedding planning shenanigans. :O

Baaaah, cons are always smack-dab in the middle of things. One of the reasons I've not yet been to one - there aren't any close enough for me to make a day trip.
