Personality:
Warrius is, first and foremost, a man of principles! Captain of his own ship, he places the lives of his crew members above all and tries to promote as much collaboration between them as possible, holding great respect for all. His belief that all deserve equal treatment and the value he places on it often leads people to see him as a naive and gullible man. Sometimes, they're right. But he always catches up and does something about it. Eventually.
Warrius is actually a walking contradiction: he's determined to work for and alongside the Machine Men, who were responsible for the war that resulted in his family's death, in hopes that it'll finally bring an end to all the ongoing conflicts. He believes that all deserve a second chance, but is unable of forgiving himself for watching those he loved pass away--which is probably why he so fiercely struggles to keep his crew members safe. He is on an endless mission to redeem himself! Woe. He is extremely loyal to his cause and would never betray anyone that's on his side. Watching someone break their vows or betray him/his crew is just about the worst offense you can commit against him.
Warrius would rather keep his inner struggles and regrets to himself and drown them in booze (no, really) than have to share his strife with others.
He will place himself in the line of fire first. Despite being a creative strategist, he often requires the aid and common sense from those of closer ranks to devise a proper plan. When not in charge of the ship, Warrius still maintains his values, but shows a more daring and cunning streak. He is seen throwing snarky remarks back and forth with Harlock, though both maintain a level of respect under a layer of mutual defiance. He's perfectly capable of handling himself in a fight: he can either negotiate a peaceful resolution or shoot his way out when there is no other way. He'd rather do the former. You can say Warrius is pretty good with words.
Needless to say that Warrius is also a gentleman, in his own fail way. He treats women with utter respect and is... extremely platonic. Except with that one robot chick because she looks just like his dead wife. He's seen becoming very flustered and apologetic when he (and other crew members) run into Marina when she's in the middle of her shower. After that mishap, he drowns in contemplation about who she is and why she looks so much like her dead wife. Yep.
SO IN SHORT: Man of principles, conflicted with a....DARK SECRET PAST (no not really), strategist, hero!!1, an all around nice guy mostly made of fail. But that's why we love him.
Extra:
Character Abilities: No magical abilities, but being a captain means HE IS TOTALLY SMART AND STRATEGISTS ETC.
Possessions: His uniform. HIS HAT. A useless gun.
Anything else: he is made of fail and makes out with robots
