Cuffs or no cuffs?

Every spring I scoff at the idea of specal summer clothes, thinking that I can just as well live through the summer in wool skirts and heavy slacks (seriously, how hot does it even get around here?), and every year I get the same slightly panicky reality check when the first late spring heatwave arrives. They tend to ruin the line of a good top. If people want to accessorize...that what a cool pair of gloves are for.

I like the way they give some weight and volume to the hem of a pair of pants, but I'm not sure that's a good effect on a pair of shorts. Also, I'm short and cuffs don't really help with that.

Gloves are awesome accessories.

Very high-waisted, but probably not going to be worn with a crop top - I'll leave that up to people who can pull it off better. :)

I'd say no to the cuffs on shorts.

I'm not sure if I'd say no cuffs ever though...you need them on shirts!
