Imbolc. The word comes from "ewes' milk"; ewes give birth to their first lambs of the year at this time. The earth begins to thaw as the ice melts and drips and streams start to trickle. It was delicious.
i’ve made home made bread before (and i use the oven and from scratch..no breadmachines)

ever since just before winter solstice, i've been feeling a pull towards the Mother Goddess. i even made a little, very basic, altar to her on the table next to my altar for Hathor.
