USPS.

I was about ready to file a complaint about my mail being "misdelivered" to my building. I saw this Question at the USPS website.

How do I address letters to Santa Claus or God?

Is this for real? :p

edit: I've always known that this has been done. I'm just surprised it's even in the site's FAQ's. That's all.

silliness, rants, random

If I remember correctly, yep.

The place is addressed to the particular Post Office itself, so someone just sorts it into a pile meant for God or Santa... of course, I don't know if it ever gets to the particular people, but at the same time, it's a lot nicer than the post office sending the kids their letters back.

It's the best legal way to let kids have their dreams, i guess.

I've always known they DO it... I'm just surprised that it's in the FAQ's.

I used to live in Alaska. I know they send letters to North Pole, AK.

it's really a cool thing what they do to those letters, or i should say we, since it's where i work. =) pero secret eh.

it's in the faqs because kids would sometimes just write to santa claus or god without the address and it gets sent back to them so just to let parents know i guess, what to instruct the kids.
