this just made me smile really hard :D little things like Science Club and track and blonde girls from Denmark and Princeton tennis, even though you can't get a sports scholarship to an Ivy though there are other kinds of grants that fulfill pretty much the same purpose. this was short and cute and kind of plotless but that's part of what makes it so lovely.

and yamamoto and hibari-kun ;_; it sounds so tragic but at the same time: eeee.

and speaking of anthropomorphic colleges.......i don't know why i'm getting so into this >_> idk man

I love your writing style, especially at the beginning, and I think Haru's character was so wonderfully fleshed out here. The only part that I felt you could have focused more on was Kyoko as a character. She did have significant scenes and I love the simple lines ("But then what happened was, Kyoko leaned over too close.") that mean so much, but her development was still kind of a mystery to me because I never quite understood their interaction as much as I wanted to. And Haru's beginning scenes were some of the best character-driven/centered prose I've seen in a while.

Still, I adored the last three parts of the fic because they capture the relationship in such an abstract way! Great work, I really do look forward to seeing you write for KHR again (:

dude I'm really happy you were able to read deeper into it and find out what's lacking, because I'm really bad at reading my own stuff and taking it seriously (might be a bad habit that came along with the self-deprecation lolol). would deeper introspection into Kyoko's character have worked better? or perhaps more dialogue? I was really worried about the huge paragraphs; they always feel like such an obstruction to the dialogue for me l-lmao. and I felt a lot more comfortable writing about Haru, but maybe that's the crux of the issue. |:

Yes I think more introspection into Kyoko would do this already-amazing fic good! I'm not a haru/kyoko shipper, truth be told, but I want to be able to read and understand and enjoy the relationship they have you know? I think more insight onto Kyoko wouldn't hurt, it'd complement Haru's. Well that's just my opinion of course! And I can understand what you mean about comfort in writing particular characters, that's why we love them so much haha.
