My Thoughts: Oh Tony, you and your Daddy issues will forever make me want to hug you. Also poor Pepper, she deserves about 10 raises. Not much to say because I was too distracted by RDJ *-*

Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
About: After being deemed unfit for military service, Steve Rogers volunteers for a top secret research project that turns him into Captain America, a superhero dedicated to defending the USA’s ideals.
My Thoughts: I don’t know how people can say this film/ character is boring. It’s the first of the Avenger series that actually properly caught and held my attention. I enjoyed Iron Man immensely but that was more RDJ love than plot love. Now Steve Rogers, just wow. Even as a scrawny kid he’s ridiculously brave and kind and just adorable. Then post-transformation, well, *fans self* The entire cast is epic to be honest. It’s hilarious. Full of action and eye candy. If I could attach myself to Rogers and just not let go, I’d be one happy woman. Good looks aside, he is a great character. Despite what we see he deals with a LOT. He was bullied his whole life, a spirit too big for a body too small. He is just fuckin epic. I’ll shut up now.

My Thoughts: Oh lord, this film is all kinds of awkward but that was expected just from reading the descript. So many excellent one liners and jokes in this film though. Has a lot of fave actors too, Aniston and Ruffalo especially. A brilliant but awkward romcom. Fave line: “I didn’t come here to tell you I can’t live without you because I can, I just don’t want to.”

My Thoughts: This film managed to do what I hate, have a tonne of stuff happen only for it all to be pretty meaningless by the end. I mean yeah character growth blahblahblah but I was left feeling like overall nothing really happened. Also it didn’t exactly have a happy ending, it was more realistic than I’d like. Also dayum a lot of sex scenes and mentions of sex. I hate sex scenes, they bore me and feel unnecessary.

My Thoughts: Quite funny and sweet but I mainly watch it for the music and dancing .__. Def worth at least one watch though.

About: A modern retelling of Snow White set against students in their freshman year of college in the greek system.
My Thoughts: Like a lot of Bynes films (that I’ve seen) yes it’s a bit of ‘oh who’s a special snowflake then?’ but I just tune that out because sometimes I like mindless crap. I especially enjoy the retelling with the seven dwarfs being geeks. Very adorable geeks. If you liked She’s the Man then you should like this one.

Overboard (1987)
About: Rich bitch Joanna hires country carpenter Dean to build a closet on her yacht. When the two don’t see eye-to-eye, Dean is left unpaid while Joanna sets sail. The following day, Joanna is fished out of the sea, after falling overboard, suffering from amnesia. Dean sees a neat way to regain the money she owes him… he tells her she’s his wife; that way Dean gets a free housekeeper and mother for his four kids.
My Thoughts: Absolutely adore this film and it sucks that no one else I know has seen it. Although you’ll prob have to ignore the fact that the male lead pretty much kidnaps a woman… It’s adorable and hilarious. It was fun watching them fall in love *-*
