The Princess Diaries (2001)
About: Mia Thermopolis has just found out that she is the heir apparent to the throne of Genovia. With her friends Lilly and Michael Moscovitz in tow, she tries to navigate through the rest of her 15th year.
My Thoughts: I adored this film the first time I saw it but since I saw PD2 I don’t like it as much. I think mainly because I adored the guy she ended up in this but then in PD2 they’re no longer together. It’s the same with Pocahontas. Despite that I did enjoy this film. It’s still funny and features two of my fav female actors.

Freaky Friday (2003)
About: An overworked mother and her daughter do not get along. When they switch bodies, each is forced to adapt to the others life for one freaky Friday.
My Thoughts: Find this film hilarious and love the music but the fact that the teenage love interest is first in love with the mother still creeps me out. I realize it’s the teenage daughter in her mother’s body at the time but he doesn’t know that. So when he starts dating the daughter as far as he’s concerned he was first in love with her mother. That can only make a relationship awkward…

The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement
About: Now settled in Genovia, Princess Mia faces a new revelation: she’s being primed for an arranged marriage to a English suitor.
My Thoughts: This film sounded horrible, sequels usually fail but I loved this one. I actually adore the English suitor and pretty much the entire cast. Plus my fav pairing get together in this film (finally). The male lead reminds me of Dimitri (Anastasia) who was a childhood crush of mine *-* Also how often do you see a male lead ride a penny farthing?

Sphere (1998)
About: A spaceship is discovered under three hundred years’ worth of coral growth at the bottom of the ocean.
My Thoughts: I can’t even. Weirdest film I’ve ever seen (even weirder than Asylum). Spent most of it with no idea wtf was going on and even when I did I was just like okay… Also some strange camera angles/ shots. Didn’t hate it but didn’t like it.

Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper (2004)
About: In an unnamed kingdom, a blonde princess and a brunette pauper are born simultaneously and grow up unaware that their facial features are identical to each other.
My Thoughts: Saw my first Barbie films years ago. Didn’t hate it so thought I’d give this one ago when my sister rented it. Enjoyed it somewhat but wouldn’t put it in my rewatch pile. Was actually quite funny, especially the ‘bloopers’.

Jurassic Park III (2001)
About: A decidedly odd couple with ulterior motives convince Dr. Alan Grant to go to Isla Sorna (the second InGen dinosaur lab.), resulting in an unexpected landing…and unexpected new inhabitants on the island.
My Thoughts: Watched with a friend. We spent most of it yelling at them to shut up and stop being morons. Their stupidity was so frustrating I was still a bit annoyed after the film. I vote bring survival of the fittest back.

About: When a criminal mastermind uses a trio of orphan girls as pawns for a grand scheme, he finds their love is profoundly changing him for the better.
My Thoughts: Hilarious and quite adorable but sure I would want to own it or rewatch.
