Beautiful. I feel that I share a portion of your fury. People make a big deal of the pedophile priest thing, and they should, but stuff like this is also responsible for people (especially young people) falling away from the Church. Jesus was a man of the people. The Pope doesn't seem interested in following that example.

Do you attach any credence to the belief that Pope John Paul I was actually assassinated for his belief that the Church should endorse birth control? I know almost nothing about this matter but I know the idea has been floated.
