Change of Plans

In this entry, I mentioned I was going to be by myself this weekend & was thinking about going to visit the coast. Well, that kind of changed! After doing some research, I found out getting to either Minami Sanriku or Kesennuma would involve a lot of train switching & over 4 hours of travel, one-way. They should have given it to you when you received your last pay and turned stuff in on your last day. (That's when I got mine when I left last year.) You may want to check all the little papers that they gave you on your last day. Mine also came with an attached note about the local taxes. But I was with AEON Central Japan. Which branch of AEON were you with?

(I would have posted there, but with the "new" commenting system, I can't post comments on 90+% of the posts.)

Thanks for the reply! I was with East Japan. Yeah, they gave me the return for Heisei 22, but I never got one for the 3 months I worked in Heisei 23.

I don't know what to say, I received my H23 form when I left in the middle of February. (My form for H22 was given to me in January.) My H23 form came with a note about any last bits of city tax, my last payroll statement and the paperwork for getting back pension money.

I would think that you would have gotten the H23 form when you left in March. If you didn't get it, then I would go to the website and call the number for AEJ. They should be able to send you another copy of it.

I mailed one of my old coworkers last night to see if she had any info about it. I'm still waiting her reply, but if she doesn't know, then, yeah, calling the head office sounds like a good plan.
