My break for Christmas was supposed to start as of 5pm Friday. I was still in the office at 7.30pm on Friday, and was there again on Saturday and Sunday. I spent a reasonable portion of yesterday finishing reports and whatnot. Don't worry. Because I'm genuinely arty and sophisticated, I sent a variety of different cards. This does not mean that you won't look like a pale, pathetic imitation of me to some, however.

The lesson you have learned here is simple, of course: when buying from an over-priced chainstore with pretensions, send your cards earlier than everyone else.

Totally agree about Torchwood though, the character 'development' is all over the place. And without that, the rubbish plots really don't hold my interest. If it weren't for my serious Japanese geek fetish and the fact that John Barrowman is lovely, I'd have given up ages ago.

They Keep Killing Suzie is the only episode of Torchwood i've seen. I was sort of impressed that someone bothered to produce such a shoddy 40 minutes of television.
