Birmingham Evacuation

All in Brum/all with friends in Brum:

Birmingham city centre is presently being evacuated after a security alert. I've checked my folks are okay, but figured you lot might want to do the same.

This as yet doesn't appear to be showing on terrestrial channels, only on the 24-hour news ones.

I texted Bando as soon as I heard about the attacks over there...I was on vacation in OR and way out of touch and was SO relieved when he got back to me to let me know you lot were all fine...

I couldn't remember who was in London and all that, who may have been there on business or personal travel...or who had people there.

I hope there's nothing to worry about in Brum...what is considered the city center? I *think* Ban is out a bit. But, what about the Milimeeks?

Ban was in town, but got kicked out of the bar he was in soon after the evacuation started. Not heard from him since, but that's probably because (a) he's got better things to do than to text me, (b) they may have switched off the mobile networks in the centre of town as a security precaution, and (c) he doesn't love me.

Haven't heard back from the house of Meekburn, either, but since there's been nothing that's actually happened, they're presumably fine. Also, I don't think they're the type to necessarily go up to Broad Street if they can help it.
