the streets of Philly are disgusting and I don't understand why they don't rehab the abandoned buildings for homeless but I guess that would take real caring to do. Drug addicts need a safe place to be instead of on the streets. It's not like these big cities could not afford to rehab abandoned buildings for shelters and use them as a tax write off. I find it appalling leaving ppl on the streets to be victimized and gawked at. UGH

i was so disheartened to see this.
vancouver, seattle, los angeles, toronto, new york, chicago, detroit, are all not far behind
move them all to detroit in the abandoned warehouses and let them build their own world
just to get them into shelters is a full time job
cities are for slickers, and bottle pickers
not helter skelter shelters
it's a conundrum.
it's like that dysfunctional sibling times a million,
what can you do but to love and feel sorry for them
...sigh
