I've had fantasies about my death by tiger. I love cats, tigers. But I know that it would be an incredibly slow and painful death, as the tiger would just keep me alive enough to "play with me." The Indians, for whom this is a real possibility, say that the only way to survive is to "ride the tiger." Not an easy feat.

Tigers are in the East. China, Russia, India, etc.
We have jaguars and panthers, et al. here in Mexico. You never see them. Like in that Kurosawa film Dersu Uzala, "If you hear a tiger, you are already dead."
