LOL what i used to do.. i haven't been much use too anybody recently i have learned much about wifi and wireless, and that it affects my health i also paint art commissions and design logos and business cards. for instance i can design a personal tattoo for you, or a personal logo, or a web page, but these days the internet companies charge too much to use their services so i hang out on livejournal and listen to music instead.
how about you? what do you do with yourself? maybe you are like natasha, the russian spy and looking for the microfilm.. in that case, i am boris, double agent for uncle. would you like to defect to the west?
today i am simply an errant knight and at your service, madame.. ; )

i watched the peter sellers movie 'the pink panther strikes again' where the russian spy goes to bed with a turk and mistakingly falls in love with clousseau and doesn't kill him
Well, there is another player not mentioned here. Google offers many things including text editing, spread sheets, and storage in the cloud all at once.
Ps: I do not use it. I don't like an idea of my documents and stuff being somewhere in the "cloud", where other people (Google staff) have access to it.

yes, i am aware of google using online apps to open mail attachments, and i'm sure they store a copy of everything attached to their emails, just for insurance backup if they are challenged about something, i also "don't like an idea of my documents and stuff being somewhere in the "cloud", where other people (Google staff) have access to it"... )))
based on what you just pointed out, i never thought of it, but i could probably email the word doc to myself, open with a google app and resave it to my desktop? i never thought of that. we used to call that sneaker net, when we used to transfer files on a disc because the network wasn't working, make a workaround to the problem, i call that "beat the computer!" touché evilzerg! much thanks ; )
