there's an IT crowd episode on netflix where the "relationship manager" has to step out for a smoke, and ends up in a solzhenitsyn gulag archipelago outside in the cold cement streets, which finally ends at a bus stop kiosk on the freeway, because the smokers are being pushed out away from the public buildings. they portray it like a communist work camp all bleak and grey, and one comrade comments, eventually, they will just shoot us...
