OK. The Painting is Finished!
Today I hung and did minor touchups to the canvas that is on display at the Greek restaurant. My work is now done.
They will be adding some decorative white trim to frame the painting to blend with the rest of the restaurant decor.
Olympic torch lighting
Acrylic on Canvas 51Hx101W in. wall mounted requires frame and lighting. Meeting the deadline I was able to pull it off in 100 hours what normally might take me a couple of months. I was exhausted nearing the deadline of the restaurant reopening, but I did it! Yaaay!!!
In the past week, many people have complimented me on the painting. We have yet to get a posse together and meet at the restaurant to drink to the occasion and celebrate the accomplishment with our friends!
The Greek leg of the Pyeong Chang 2018 Olympic Torch Relay began with the lighting of the Olympic flame by leading Greek actress Katerina Lehou playing the role of High Priestess at a ceremony held at the 2,600-year-old Temple of Hera in Olympia on 24 October, and ends with the flame's arrival in Athens.
