The day of rest is the day you do not do what you do all week which is typically work for most. At least this is how I was taught and why you go to church or temple to be with our savior on a day of rest which is usually on the weekends. Just a thought from what Gpa taught me.

I still like your post about the Amish. My biggest problem is how sexist the OT is but in the NT Christ favors a whore to show women are just as important as men to God.

the jews in the OT were animals and needed potty mouth training
the NT was an invitation to the gentiles to come join the celebration, since the jews wouldn't listen..
