I hated the Smiths for about two and a half years before they somehow won me over. I'm still a little resentful. Damn you, whiney semi-monotone Morrissey!

But Morrissey has such an amazing voice! Um, I think. I'm biased, though; my dad played This Charming Man constantly as I was growing up, so I have loved the Smiths forever.
