ps: That .gif at the end. Does a giant snort of red hot smoke snort out his nostrils the very frame after it's been cut? I'd be terribly disappointed that that amount of sheer contempt wasn't followed by a shot of fiery smoke and hate. Did the person receiving it kick his mother?
OH THE CONTEMPT. Sadly, no, no snorts of smoke come out of his nose at the end, only a cut to him being whipped (yes, really). Although the smoke? WOULD HAVE BEEN AWESOME.
Inglourious Basterds fandom, more specifically the two characters Shosanna (Mélanie "OMG Beautiful" Laurent) and Fredrick (Daniel "Unf Unf Unf" Brühl). They're completely screwed up and Quentin Tarantino's OTP, you know.
I LOVE THEM. Which makes me in the fandom minority, or something.
This looks absolutely wonderful. Can't wait to hear it all. And *gasp* OMG, 'Your Ghost'!! That's one of those songs I think I'm the only one who knows, so I love finding out I'm wrong. I believe the look on Hugo's face is the same I sometimes give people at work. :D
And OMG "Your Ghost"! I thought I was the only one who'd heard it, too! (outside my high school, who seemed to be really obsessed with it ;) It's perfect for these two, me thinks.
It's such a schtzophrenic mix, I think maybe I've related these songs in my mind but not anywhere else. Kanye, Pieces? Kanye? (it's totally them)
"Don't Dream It's Over" and "There's No Such Place" are their very ending songs, I reckon. Whether dead or alive or hiding or whatever, they're so final and so...UGH DO WE NEED TO GO INTO THEIR AWESOME ONLY-IN-PIECES-AND-BUTCHIE'S-MINDS FATES AGAIN!?!
Schizophrenic works, as this combines every little detail that makes us love Shosanna/Fredrick, with a nice side dish of "What if?"
Don't Dream It's Over works so beautifully thanks to that chorus; it reinforces that nothing will separate them. And thanks to this wonderful fanmix, I made another one, all pertaining to the projection booth scene. It includes this:
If I let Tarantino touch my feet, do you think he'd let me have Shosanna and Fredrick?
