I've decided to set myself a weekly challenge. Every week, I will hit random on Mobo, my Creative Zen, and list the next five songs to come up - regardless of what they are. Then I will use these songs to inspire drabbles/ficlets. Easy, no?

Okay, before I am predictable and all "YAY J/L," I have to say that your Dani/Charlie story was outstanding.

"Smokes. And other things. Everything's a commodity in jail."

He walks towards her and cuts the tag off her shirt, handing both the scissors and the tiny piece of material to her before walking out the room in a haze of the sun rising.

So, so, so good.

But onto:
She rubbed her face against his stubble and felt him lean away while trying to hold her close, and it was so much of a mistake that they never spoke of it again except in the ways their bodies seemed to draw together from then on like magnets.

The world is a better place for this sentence existing.

The dancing!spazzy!Juliet was great, but that? That was magic.

And you know I giggled at the OT3 of Garret/Tess/Breakfast

This challenge? Both wonderfully hard and amazingly inspiring. I mean, as if the Pretenders song could be anything but J/L, but "Jeden Tag Sonntag"? If you listen to it, it's the most manic song ever written and hello Garret and Tess.

I love writing Angsty!Charlie and Dani. And I love writing Manic Dancing!Juliet. It's like Christmas!

(So this challenge is a success, yes?)

It is officially my goal, regardless of the situation or circumstances that lead to it, to have breakfast with Garret. And Tess. But I'll just be happy with Garret.

Now, let's form a production company who only has morning meetings...

(So writing a fic where she shaves him while sitting on the bathroom counter with her legs around his middle is a bad idea?)

OH MY GOD!!!! You really know how to leave a girl giddy. Those J/L fics were absolutely amazing! I don't watch the other shows, so I can't really comment on those, but I'm sure those were amazing too. But OMG, the Lassiet ones!!!!!!!! The dancing! He stayed behind to make sure she didn't go home with anyone else! Juliet kept souvenirs of their special times together! SHE RENTED HIS FAVORITE MOVIE! SHE DRUNK KISSED HIM!!!! HE CRANKY KISSED HER! OMG!!!! Seriously, these were awesome. I have such a ridiculously huge amount of love for your writing. LOVED IT!

Agreed. The JMP one was the easiest to write because the song was so them, in five years when they're meeting clandestinely and doing everything by the edge of their nails. Eeeeee.
