I didn't want it to look like I came back to LJ and then ran off again - and besides, I'm still out of school until next week and have more time than usual to waste doing stupid surveys (that I really love).

Aw, I was indeed so away that I was quite idle. Off getting coffee with someone I think. Or fixing my laptop (which I partially succeeded at, using only a C-clamp and a firewire cable, life is odd).

Userpics: to make, you can edit pictures you have with Photoshop or GIMP (which is free, unlike Photoshop) or you can steal them like I do: search for icon communities on lj that are geared at specific interests and you shall find. IM me next time you're on if this makes no sense :)
