I bought Damien Rice's new album last night, which was both stupid (considering my financial situation) and incredibly intelligent, because of course it is beautiful. What else could it possibly be? Also, one of the songs, 'Rootless Tree', has a chorus that begins 'fuck you, fuck you, fuck you'. This makes me happy ( Read more... )

I didn't know that you had bought The Rice's new album. this must be borrowed by moi :D

I'm going to post you 'Interview With the Angel'- mainly because of your scoffing session this morning. It really is a beautiful piece and if you watch/listen to all of it I defy you not to find it in the least bit effecting.
