Day Four

Jul 10, 2009 16:03

God i'm not going to be able to watch that episode for another two years. It was as hurtful as the s4 finale of Doctor Who. I still havnet rewatched that.

Fuck. WHY!!!!!!!!!!! I cant stop sobbing.

I look and feel exactly like my mood theme right now. Christ.

I need vodka shots, or something happy to distract me.

It took me a LONG time to stop crying this morning :(

And I'd only just managed to get over Tosh and Owen...

RTD has got a lot to answer for...he's made me cry far too many times in four series of DW and three of TW

'Don't forget me.'
'Never could.'
'A thousand years time. You won't remember me.'
'Yes I will. I promise. I will.'

It saddens me that there are so many people angry that he didn't say it back. But I think what was said and unsaid spoke volumes more. It couldn't have been more perfect for me. :(

It was Jack yelling "I take it back!" at the 456 that got me. I could not stop the tears.

And for me, this shows that RTD is just fucking pathetic, and his writing has gone dramatically downhill. He needs to learn that it is not necessary to kill off characters every second episode. I'm so glad he's gone from Doctor Who, the wanker.

Are you kidding? His writing is incredible and yes, okay i agree that he doesnt have to constantly kill of charaters for his shows to be awesome seriously he made this mini series just AMAZING and somehow redeemed how it was in eariler series when it was just ridiculous and made it amazing.

I'll miss his input in Who, i recon without it here it feels like something definitely is missing.

Yes, I'm being bitter. :P

I just often seem to get a sense of mediocrity from his work, while from Steven Moffat I get a sense of the truly amazing. But I do agree that this miniseries has been brilliant.

Agreed. Killling off characters like this is lazy writing. You don't have to do that in order to reach the appropriate dramatic effect.
