LA/San Diego trip

Here are some pictures from my trip to LA and San Diego. Overall we took probably over 600 pictures, but here is the very much cut down version of 36. Too lazy to split this post up into two parts, so here are all the pictures at one go. Definitely not dial-up friendly!

Balboa Park! Please understand that they filmed the Cuba scene in VMars when Keith finds Duncan on a street in Balboa Park, hahah. Really.

And Ghiradelli is literally a block or two away from the most amazing restaurant ever, Buca di Beppo. And a really pretty Urban Outfitters : ). I've only been to the zoo once or twice, I always went to the Wild Animal Park that's a little bit further north, but the zoo was fun as I remember it.

And the Getty! The art there really isn't as impressive as I thought it would be, but the grounds are incredible. The cafe that overlooks the gardens and the fountain in the back had really yummy soup when I went.

Your animal pictures are awesome, as are all of these. It looks like you had fun! ♥

Seriously? I did not know that. That's so awesome!

Aww, we didn't go to Buca di Beppo for dinner. We went to the restaurant across from Ghiradelli, the Ocean Room or something. I saw that Urban Outfitters you were talking about though! I didn't get to go in b/c it was already closed, unfortunately.

I think I've been to Wild Animal Park when I was a kid, but I don't remember. Nevertheless, the zoo was pretty awesome.

Yeah, the architecture and the grounds are so pretty at both the Getty Villa and the Getty Centre. Even though there was less art, I liked the ones at Getty Villa more because it was interesting to hear about the Roman and Greek culture.

Thank you :) I did have a great time; I'd love to go back to SoCal if I ever have the chance in the future!
