A reminder and how tags work.

This is a reminder for Challenge 3 which will be over this Friday. If you're still planning on posting a casting picspam, you should be thinking about getting it done now.
This is also an explanation of the tagging system.
If you're not sure how to tag something you do not have to do it.
Only mods can create new tags. This is why sometimes the tags you try to use don't work.
The tags !challenge, !mod post, and !wrapup are ONLY for mod use. Some people have been using the !challenge tag for their posts and this is NOT right. That tag is ONLY for challenge posts.
Currently there are nine category tags: actor, actress, book, film, music, non-fandom, politics, stage, and tv. These are used on every picspam post, depending on which category the picspam falls into.
Each picspam is tagged with challenge number tags. So obviously so far we have challenge01, challenge02, and challenge03. We will create the challenge tags at the beginning of the challenge period.
All of your posts should be tagged with your username preceded by a period. So for instance, my username tag would be .clearthe_area. If you are posting for the first time, a mod will have to create your username tag for you.
Then there are specific tags for each film, tv show, person, etc. So for instance, the tag for Walk the Line is f. walk the line, the "f" stands for film. Any people are tagged with a "p". Originally we were going to have "a" for actors and actresses but that was too complicated for people who are involved in both acting and music or other combinations. So the tag for Brad Pitt would be p. brad pitt. TV shows begin with a "t" so the tag for Buffy the Vampire Slayer is t. buffy the vampire slayer. Books and stage productions do not get separate tags. We haven't had any use for music tags yet so we don't know if bands or musicians will have separate tags.
So if you'd like to tag your own posts, you should have your username tag, the challenge number tag, the category tag, and a tag(s) for the specific fandom your picspam belongs to. For instance, the tags for this post are ".anna_bo_banna, challenge02, f. walk the line, film, music, p. johnny cash, p. june carter". Again, if you don't feel comfortable tagging yourself, you can leave it and we'll get to it as soon as possible.
