2008: favorite things
in summary: i didn't really care for 2008. the music was boring, the movies even more boring, and the tv shows were limited. and I was so busy, I didn't even have time to ready any new books. but some things I liked.
favorite albums
9. Madonna - Hard Candy. To say that I liked this album would be a lie. I only like maybe four songs off of it, the rest...not so much. It's probably her worst album. But compared with everything else in 2008, I like it. I like it more, now that I've had a while to relisten to it. It's not that bad.
8. Neon Neon - Stainless Style
7. Lady Gaga - The Fame. It's a fun album, that's the only reason I like it/her.
6. Janelle Monae - Metropolis. She's crazy and I love her voice.
5. The Killers - Day & Age. I don't like the Killers...but I like this album. So maybe I like their new stuff? I don't know.
4. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Dig Lazarus Dig
3. Santogold - Santogold
2. Portishead - Third
1. Solange - Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams. I wish people wouldn't judge her based on her personality.

FAVORITE MOVIES (in no particular order)
- Quantum of Solace (I liked it almost as much as Casino Royale. If this movie had Eva Green in it, though, it would have been my favorite James Bond movie ever)
- Savage Grace (I was so disturbed by this movie. In a good way. Until the end.)
- Wall E
- Wanted
- Transsiberian (It wasn't the greatest movie ever, but it was probably the best thriller I saw this year)
- Blindness
- The Fall
- Funny Games (not that I'll be rewatching it anytime soon)
FAVORITE TV SHOWS (in no particular order)
