Add "October Road" to my list of shows I never got into until it was over. But I was close this time! I decided to Netflix the first season soon after the series was canceled. At first, the only thing that intrigued me about this show was the fact that it starred Bryan Greenberg. I already loved him in OTH and I just gone done watching the movie "Prime" but I was still in need of a Bryan fix. I thought I'd give "October Road" a try because it sounded like a show I'd be into. (I'm a sucker for shows about small towns!) Plus, it didn't hurt that the first season got some good reviews. After watching the pilot, I was hooked. The plot was exciting--I loved that each episode ended with a little revelation that left you wanting more. But what I liked most about the show was that all the supporting characters were just so endearing. I was interested in their storylines as much as the main character's. I admit the second season wasn't as great as the first but I do think the show should've/could've continued. I'm just happy the creators included a short series finale as an extra on the DVDs to oficially wrap up the loose ends. I've never seen anyone picspam this show before so I thought I'd do the pilot to show my love for it. It was nice while it lasted!
