Oh, Michael Bay. You did sci-fi good with this flick. I think I was the only person who left the theater completely amazed. Clones! No one does clones. Body snatchers? Evil body snatchers? Evil clones. Yes. But a visually stunning science fiction action movie where the clones are Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johanson? No. This movie is stunning. I can only use that word because beautiful doesn't really quite cut it for me. The story is good, simple to follow and the actors? Djimon Honsou. My God. Whoever got him AND Sean Bean to play the bad guys? Award. Give it to the casting directors. I love this movie. I didn't pay attention the first time around because honestly put Juno Reactor on shuffle and it's an epic music video where shit blows up and pretty people look pretty in helicopter-like things and fall off building signs and CLONES! Did I mention it's about CLONES?! And it's the best looking sience fiction movie I've ever seen. Even better than 2001 and Fifth Element and Total Recall and Gatacca and Minority Report. Is that sacrilege? Perhaps. No one seems to care about this movie at all, which is too bad.
