I've never watched American Idol before. I hate reality shows and I have an embarrassment button that AI hits HARD. I didn't watch a single episode of last season -- except the last. I did, however, watch every one of Adam's performances the day after via youtube. When it came down to the bottom two and Adam was one of them, I actually spammed the hell out of American Idol's phone lines trying to get through and vote for this awesome, awesome person. And I truly believed he deserved it. Adam's music isn't really my style, but somehow that's part of why I love it so much. His style is truly unique. He gets up there, he gets out on that stage, and he does his thing. His very own, fabulous fucking thing, and damn if it isn't the sexiest thing you've ever witnessed. He is an amazing force, an "alien from Planet Fierce," says his brother Neil, and his honesty is so raw its almost painful. I'm spamming Adam because this Details interview just reminded me how awesome, intelligent, and fucking fierce he is.
