101 dalmations
This month's challenge at picspammy is 'something different', so I thought I'd introduce you to my very first obsession: before Adrian Pasdar, before Heroes, before Stargate: SG-1, there was 101 Dalmations - the cartoon, we'll have none of that icky live action here, thank you kindly. From ages five to eight, I was completely in love with this film. I had all the merchandise: pencil cases, toys, pyjamas, leggings, t-shirt, jumpers, bath towels (which I still use...), at least one print, and my mum painted her old wooden recorder white with black spots for my music classes. God knows what licking that paint did to me, but I loved it with all my geeky little heart.
This film cemented my love of films about dogs, and good old-fashioned 2D cartoons. I even teared up a bit putting this picspam together (Roger and Pongo worrying over little Lucky ;_;).
