Not sure if anybody will even see this since I'm on livejournal so infrequently, but I stumbled upon a word list that surprised me today and have decided to turn it into a word list quiz. So, here goes... What are the other 2 words that complete the following list ( Read more... )

I think HOMO might be one of them, if I'm on the right track....

Nice! You are. What surprised me the most was how short the list was in TWL. It's like 8x larger in Collins.

List concept not so difficult with that hint, but trying to find a stand-alone word that fits the bill for the word other than HOMO.

Yeah. For some reason I thought AGORAPHOBIA was a fairly popular word. I think New Yorkers talk about it a lot since it's supposedly the number one phobia in Manhattan.

What really surprises me, though, is how few -PHOBIA words there are in TWL (12, including PHOBIA). I thought that there were phobias for everything, so I checked Collins, and they have 85! Are words like ARACHNOPHOBIA# really not in any of our source dictionaries?
